A few topics fall under C for my A-Z this week: Collars, Cuffs and Cages.
My Dom asked me to include cages on this list when I first put it together. They aren’t something I had encountered before, so I had to give it quite some thought. I don’t like the idea of being caged much. I think probably because it infers a somewhat animal status on a sub and – for me at least – would probably be a bit humiliating. Being deprived of contact with my Dom would be one of the worst punishments he could inflict on me. As much as I enjoy being restrained, and LOVE his control over me, I would hate to disappoint him to the extent he confined me away from his presence. That being said this isn’t a hard limit for me.
Ah, my collar.
The single most important item that represents my submission to my Dom. From the moment he put it around my neck, it has meant everything to me. A sign of his ownership of me, and of my devotion to him. A visible symbol to the world that I am an owned submissive. When he attaches a leash to it we are connected in a way that anybody not in a D/s relationship can never truly understand.
I just adore it.
When I was very new to the world of D/s I was somewhat horrified by the thought of wearing a collar. The first dominant I was involved with talked to me about wearing one, and I must admit my thoughts ran along the lines of “Is this man mad? Wear a collar? Like a dog?”
How things change. With time, with experience, with understanding of what it means, and of course with a man whose collar I couldn’t bear to be without.
I added this one in as wearing wrist cuffs is something that my Dom likes me to do all the time. It’s a small thing that he feels adds something to the picture I represent to the outside word as his submissive. Of course they come in very handy when he wants to quickly restrain my arms too. I was little unsure about wearing them for him initially, I did it solely to please him, but with some trepidation. Now they have come to be almost as much a part of my ‘uniform’ for him as my collar is.
